Theme Thursday: Lalaloopsy Parties

I mentioned HERE that my daughter is enamored with My Little Pony… and we were thinking about a MLP birthday party this year.  BUT, she is ALSO enamored with Lalaloopsy, and now we can’t decide!  It doesn’t help that I found a ton of adorable ideas for decorating and throwing a Lalaloopsy party.  Check ’em out!

St. Patrick’s Day Food and Fun

It’s almost March, and this year St. Patrick’s Day and Easter are really close to one another… and I also have three kid’s birthday to plan in between, so I’m gathering ideas as quickly as I can.  I found some great green and gold and rainbow DIY projects and recipes!

Spring Baby Shower Ideas

We have another post with Spring Baby Shower ideas HERE, but you can never have enough inspiration, so it’s time for another spring time post, don’t you think?

First, from the Hostess blog, a lovely “Happy Trails” Spring Baby Shower… love the pastel desserts buffet! I just LOVE that ruffled cake, don’t you?  Want to try to make one? Here’s a link to a pretty pink pastel ruffle cake.  It’s a bit of work but the result is gorgeous (it’s pastels on the inside too)!

Springtime Cookies and Cupcakes

I don’t know about you, but once Valentine’s Day is over, I start dreaming about and planning for SPRING!  I also start feeling like trying something new and making fun projects with my kids.  It’s probably a “getting past winter” surge or something.  Anyway, I thought I’d start collecting some fun spring cookie recipes and tutorials for cookies(cupcakes too!). And of course, I’m sharing them with YOU!

DIY Table Numbers – Fun & Whimsical

There are so many fun and fab ways to number the tables for your wedding reception or event.  I’ve found some fun and whimsical ideas for table numbers that I’d like to share with you today!

I’d live to share another great recipe from my friend Danielle’s blog, Hugs&CookiesXOXO.  She is an *amazing* baker and I often use her recipes when entertaining. This fabulous Dulce De Leche bar recipe was part of a holiday dessert buffet I contributed to this past season.  So many people asked for the recipe I lost count!

Mexican dessert recipes often call for dulce de leche, also known as ‘milk caramel’.  Your grocery store may carry it, however, Danielle shares how to make dulce de leche below.
