Homemade Twinkies Recipe – Plain or Chocolate Covered!

I am so excited to share this Hostess Twinkie recipe from my friend Danielle over at Hugs&CookiesXOXO.  She is the QUEEN OF DESSERTS and I love to receive her decadent posts.  Click on over and sign up for them – I guarantee you’ll love the too!


This recipe, which would be so much fun to do with your kids, requires a Twinkie Pan.  Yes, there is such a thing.  All you need to do is google “twinkie pan” and there will be tons of choices!

Baseball Party Ideas

Baseball is a great theme for spring and summer birthdays (well, even for fall too!).  Here are some great baseball birthday party ideas I found while looking around!

Homemade Father’s Day Gift Ideas

It’s almost here… June 16th this year is Father’s Day, and there is still time to make some fantastic gifts for Dad, Grandpa, and even the Uncles!

From Lovely Indeed, an incredible apron sewing tutorial – for the Manly Man apron!  I love this idea, although I’m not sure of my capabilities with the sewing machine.  One thought to adapt this one – buy a plain white apron to decorate!

National Donut Day!

Did you know that today is National Donut Day?!  You can bet I’ll be getting some donuts with my children today…because… well, we MUST celebrate these important holidays!  And I have a few fun donut inspired posts to share too!

Mason Jar Wedding Centerpieces

Mason Jars have been around for a very long time, most often used for canning jams and jellies (and they are really good for use as a mug when drinking sweet tea)… but they are also getting a HUGE comeback as a wedding favor decoration and wedding favor centerpieces.  Some of my favorite finds are listed below!

DIY Wedding Guest Books

There are a lot of ways to personalize a wedding reception, but one of the most unique ways is to create or design your own wedding guest book.  In fact, these days, wedding guest books aren’t always “books”.  I’ve found some great alternatives, as well as a some traditional ideas, for you today!

Outer Space Birthday Parties

Both of my boys are obsessed with space… probably because their dad is too.  The movie Star Wars came out in 1977 when my husband was 7 years old, and the obsession began that year.  Today I have some super fun ideas for outer space birthday parties… for all YOUR space obsessed boys too!
