My only serious complaint about summer is that it goes TOO fast!  (Well, that, and the 115 degree weather we sometimes get in Las Vegas).  I just can’t believe how quickly the days go by, and the 4th of July will be here before we know it!  SO, today… some 4th of July favor ideas!

Homemade Father’s Day Gift Ideas

It’s almost here… June 16th this year is Father’s Day, and there is still time to make some fantastic gifts for Dad, Grandpa, and even the Uncles!

Mason Jar Wedding Centerpieces

Mason Jars have been around for a very long time, most often used for canning jams and jellies (and they are really good for use as a mug when drinking sweet tea)… but they are also getting a HUGE comeback as a wedding favor decoration and wedding favor centerpieces.  Some of my favorite finds are listed below!

There are a lot of ways to personalize a wedding reception, but one of the most unique ways is to create or design your own wedding guest book.  In fact, these days, wedding guest books aren’t always “books”.  I’ve found some great alternatives, as well as a some traditional ideas, for you today!

Campfire Party – inside and out!

Summer is going to be here in two blinks of an eye, and it’s time to start thinking about campfires and s’mores!  Now, for the “delicate” among us, not all campfire events have to be OUTSIDE in the wild… some can be inside with A/C and s’mores can be made in more ways than one. Frosting Cookies and Cakes

One of my favorite fondant artists is Sugar High, Inc.  You have to check out the online fondant art gallery… and prepared to be awestruck!  Well, Sugar High offers a few tutorials (not free) on how to create fondant art.  The price is TOTALLY reasonable for a tutorial of this kind… check out the adorable whales:
