And from ontobaby.com, CUSTOMIZABLE chevron cards  including changing the colors! Don’t let the “baby shower” title fool you – you CAN use these to make a baby shower invite OR change the tabs to make note cards, thank you cards, and even place cards!  Love these!

Tea and Cupcakes

Today’s post was inspired by one of our recent customers, Kimberly.  Here is what she had to say about the party planning:

I found the perfect invitation for what I had in mind (Tea & Cupcakes), you’ll see it attached and was looking for a decoration theme that would tie it in together.  That’s where your cupcake sticker came into the scene.  It was perfect.  It was a cupcake.  It was pink and brown and I loved that I was able to personalize it.  The sticker was used to put on the back of the shower favors which happen to be cookie cutters in the shape of the letters that spell LOVE.  Once I had the cupcake sticker in mind I was able to pull everything else together, the colors were pink and brown, as well as what decorations I had.  I was even able to find a similar cupcake to your sticker in the form of a wall decal (great website call Wall Monkeys) large sized that we put on the wall.  The cupcakes I ordered from the bakery were brown with pink frosting as well…the rest of the deserts we made ourselves.

Thanks to Kimberly for these pictures of the Tea & Cupcakes shower that she hosted for her sister.  Didn’t she do a FAB job?!

Theme Thursday – Red and White Weddings & Parties

We started a new series last week, called Theme Thursday, with a tribute to yellow and gray.  THIS week we are celebrating Red and White together.  Birthday parties, bridal showers, and even weddings – red and white as a theme is hot, hot HOT!

To get us started off with a bang, check out this post from the Ruffled blog – a vintage red and white and black wedding:

And Pacific Weddings shares an INCREDIBLE red and white butterfly theme wedding… scroll through the photos and read their description of how this was styled.  The red bridal bouquet is gorgeous and the little touches of black and red throughout the celebration are knock-out!

I know we haven’t even gotten through Halloween yet, but it’s never too early to start thinking about the Christmas and winter holidays.  From the Hostess blog, a lovely and joyful red and white holiday tablescape for inspiration:

I went back to Living Locurto once again, because she has fabulous printables for $15.95 that are so gorgeous, I had to share!

And finally, from Kara’s Party Ideas, a lovely red and white bridal shower.  Lots of great ideas for pulling reds and whites together… love it!

For more fab pictures and inspiration for red and white parties, go to Google.com/Images and type in, for example:

  • red and white wedding cakes (or ‘red and white cakes’)
  • red and white decorations
  • red and white bouquet

What other ways could you use reds and whites together?  We’d love to hear your ideas!
