Theme Thursday – Dr. Suess Parties

It’s time for another Theme Thursday, and this week we are getting bright and colorful and fun with Dr. Suess!  There are so many directions one could go with this one, and for a variety of ages too!

From Design Addict Mom, an incredible 1st Dr. Seuss birthday party theme:

Another 1st birthday party, from the Hostess blog a Cat in the Hat Birthday party.  There are some AMAZING photos with this one, so be sure to click through and see all the ideas! She provides sources at the end of her post.  Aren’t the Cat in the Hat Hats adorable!

Check out this cute idea for Dr. Seuss themed photo booth, from Catch my Party:  A red frame and a blue background (if you can’t find cat in the hat fabric or gift wrap) will work just fine!

The Party Wagon has some FAB photos and ideas with her Dr. Seuss party post… I love the yarn-covered bottles as centerpieces.  There are so many fabulous ideas in this post – make sure you scroll down to the end of the post to find sources!

And from Hank & Hunt, check out this SUPER EASY, but fab Lorax Cupcake for a Lorax party… Truffula Trees:

Princess Tea Parties

There aren’t many party themes more adorable than the Princess Tea Party theme.  If you are planning a princess tea party, I have some fun inspiration for you today!

From Kara’s Party, and incredibly styled princess tea party:

Lots of great ideas (and gorgeous photos) from TSJ photography.  Make sure you scroll all the way through to the end for the links to great sources!

From the Party Wagon, another gorgeous princess tea party… I love the tiara cake pops!  Go through all the pics and you will walk away with some fab ideas like colorful dipped marshmallows, hot pink sugar rimmed drinking glasses, princess tiara cookie and more!

From Glorious Treats, a pink and purple princess tea party… check out the gorgeous pink and purple ribbon frame above the tea party table.  Lots of decorating inspiration here (little touches that have a big impact!). Oh – and those number oreo pops are just too cute!

And finally, an AMAZING idea from Bubble and Sweet… an edible tiara on top a gorgeous ombre princess cake!  Here’s the link for her tutorial showing how to make cake ruffles.

Are you planning a princess tea party?  We’d love to hear about it!
