This week is Teacher Appreciation week, and with school also drawing to a close, I thought I’d post a few more “Teacher Thank You” gift ideas… (I’ve posted about this before, HERE and HERE).

DIY Teacher Appreciation Gifts

I posted last year with some Teacher Appreciation Gift Ideas, and I have a few new ideas that I found this year.  Between my three children, I have three home-room teachers, and three “extra” teachers that I need to plan for, so I’m trying to get started a little early!

From Skip to My Lou, a “thanks a latte” printable card – perfect for the teacher who is a coffee lover.

Check out this super cute altered Pringles can that can be filled with goodies for the teacher, from Glue Sticks and Tape:

Another GREAT idea from Skip to My Lou… a Summer Relaxation Kit – with a free teacher appreciation poem printable to help make this one easier for you!

And from Simply Seleta… a trendy teacher gift – so super cute, and budget friendly too!

Back to School Party Ideas

I can’t believe that summer is almost over and we only have two more weeks until my kids head back to school.  I’m actually pretty sad about it – I think I love summer vacation even more than my kids do!  Relaxed schedules, trips to the water park and playgrounds, visiting family… and best of all, NO HOMEWORK!  Wow, I am not ready to start thinking about homework, are you?

Of course, I have no choice… so, I may as well celebrate!  I did some hunting around to see what kind of “back to school” celebrations I could find, and I found some great ideas!

First up, from eighteen25, a great “back to school printable” post.  SUPER cute free printables (at the end of the post) and ideas for having a back to school party:

From the Amy Atlas blog, a FAB post with lots of inspiration for a “back to school” party: I love the chalk on the glass bottle – you can purchase chalk paint at any craft store!

Check out this really quick and easy “back to school” treat you and the kids can make for their new friends, from Blackberry Vine:

From the TomKat studio, another great inspiration post, with some tips for throwing a fun back to school bash including a free teacher appreciation card at the end of the post.

And from Love the Day, one more inspiring party post…  and you can get the fun printables featured in the post, HERE

Do you have any back to school traditions or party plans?  We’d love to hear about them!

Teacher Appreciation Gift Ideas

The end of the school year is ALMOST here (hooray!), and it’s time to be gathering your ideas for teacher appreciation gifts!  We already have a free printable HERE that you can download and use… and I have some other fun ideas for you today too!

(Psst… and you might just want to come back tomorrow for ANOTHER free printable for your teacher… just saying).

First up, from Giggles Galore comes a FUN idea for a DIY gift – a decorated potted plant AND gift card.  I love the chalkboard look on this pot! Step-by-step instructions, as well as prices are given!

I found a really cute free teacher appreciate printable from Eighteen25 – it’s perfect for any kind of cookie gift you want to give.  Free and so easy!

You know I can’t pass up a chance to share cookie ideas from Sweet Sugar Belle… look at this fun post with a couple of great cookie gift ideas.  She is *so* amazing!

One more from Eighteen25 – free downloadable teacher tags for CANDY jars.  Such a great idea for a gift that your favorite teacher can use and re-use.  She found the mini jars at Hobby Lobby; most craft stores sell them!

This next downloadable is not free, but it’s very inexpensive, and I think you’ll agree that it’s TOTALLY worth the price (less than $2!).  Just look at the adorable downloadable tags you can get from {think cute} designs!  Attach to a bag of little goldfish crackers, and you have an quick, easy, and FUN gift!

Are you planning your teacher appreciation gifts yet?  If so, what are YOU working on?  We’d love to hear!

Fab FREE Friday Teacher Appreciations Printables

It’s getting closer and closer to the end of the school year, and it’s time to start thinking about gifts for your children’s favorite teacher(s)!  I have simple printables for you that can be used as a teacher gift tag or a teacher appreciation cupcake topper for those special folks!

These free printable tags are 2 inches round, and come 20 to a sheet.  The download is in a PDF format file.  Just download, print, and then cut.  (We recommend a circle punch, like THIS ONE, but scissors work too!  Punches are low cost and once you have one you’ll find zillions of reasons to use it)

You can punch a hole and add tags to your a gift or favors with string or ribbon… or use the design as a cupcake topper.  If you decide to print them on STICKER paper, these will make great seals for favor bags or boxes too!

Happy Friday!
