Memorial Day DIY

Memorial Day is next weekend, and we are planning a simple backyard BBQ with family… but for those of you who have grander plans, I’ve got some fun Red, White, and Blue DIY ideas AND recipes for you!

DIY Spring Time Wreaths

It’s been awhile since we had a wreath post, and I think it’s definitely time for a post on beautiful spring wreaths to make – don’t you?

First up, from TwelveOEight, a how to make a burlap wreath for spring– love how simple this is, and how shabby chic!

I’m not sure it gets much easier than the following wreath from Living Locurto.  It’s a 10-minute how to make a napkin wreath tutorial, isn’t it FAB!

Fun Easter Craft Ideas

Easter will be here before we know it, and it’s time to start making your decor and DIY plans!  (I have a birthday party to plan this month too, so I may be getting overly anxious – we do still have 20-something days to get our Easter DIY on).

Here are some fun, unique Easter DIY projects I found… some are practical, some are not, but all are Diva-licious!

First up, if you are looking for Easter wreath ideas and your a crafter, you’ll love this wreath tutorial from A Lemon Squeezy Home.  I love her very detailed photos, and this looks easy to make with a lovely WOW factor:

A very Diva idea from Stylizimo… golden Easter eggs!  I love how simple this is – ugly Easter eggs with gold leaf painted on.  Gorgeous!

DIY Fabulous Christmas Wreaths!

It’s that time of year… time for some DIY Christmas wreaths!  I’m not sure why, but I just LOVE looking at Christmas wreaths and all the fun ways a person could make their decor just that much more special.  I’ve got some great posts to share with you today, so YOU can DIY your way to a fab Xmas wreath!

From Vintage Style Files, a DIY Ornament Wreath… I know we have some vintage ornaments in our Christmas “stash”, but I’m not sure I could get away with turning them into a wreath.  But wow.. I kinda want to!

From Canadian Family, a surprisingly easy way to make a GOLD wreath; so very clever *and* inexpensive!

 

From the Kurtz Corner, how to make a TULLE  wreath.  This could be done in lots of lovely colors – wouldn’t have to stick with traditional reds and greens at all!
