Many thanks to Ulrika, a fabulous and frequent hostess, for this picture of her latest event:
I want to share a Diva Entertains exclusive with you – our Personalized Zebra Print Favor Boxes. They arrive fully assembled and we can print your text on the front tag as well as on the back of the box:
Each zebra themed favor box measures approximately 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″. It can hold a generous amount of small candies, Lindt truffles, flower seeds, fortune cookie cookies, tea-light candles, etc. And it arrives fully assembled!
Our boxes are fully customizable – you pick the border color (front tag matches the border) and ribbon color. If you would like to add a photo to the front or back, please go to our “Contact Us” link and send us your image!
To fill, simply lift up the tag, fill, and then seal. (Under the tag there are two adhesives; one has cover on it. Simply remove the cover and close together.)

Our favor boxes are perfect for Zebra Themed Baby Shower, Birthday Parties and Bridal Showers.
As a theme, and as an accent, we’ve posted about Zebra Print before, but it’s so, so popular, we just have to share again (and again).

We love jungle parties – the animal prints, the “wild” animals, loud colors and fun favors – a jungle party theme is perfect for most any young child… and you can’t go wrong with jungle baby showers either!
One of our customers recently used animal print treat and favor bags and cardstock to make a fun “banner”. How cute is this:
Looking for other decoration ideas? Check out this how to make jungle vines post, from Reading Confetti: Here she uses fabric but felt and paper would also work!
Serving cupcakes? Check out this great idea for a cupcake stand, from Logan and Kalia’s Blog. She has instructions (and more detailed photos) in THIS post, about how to change the stand for different themes:
And finally, a super fun idea (for the crafty creatives)… face painting as a party game, from One Charming Party! (And she includes info about an animal show too!) Her pictures are so great that you can see easily how to face paint animals!
Other FABULOUS additional animal designs for faces can be found HERE. If you want to learn how to paint a particular jungle animal go to Google.com/Images and type in what you are looking for. Ex: Face Paint Giraffe or Face Paint Lion.
I told you yesterday that I would have a fun, fab printable for you today. And here it is!
It’s a little different from some of the printables we’ve been offering so far… today’s free printable is a Treat Bag Topper. For your teacher… or teacher’s aide.. or anyone else you need to say “Thank You” to this year.
The file is in PDF format – the toppers are 7 inches x 5 inches, and come one per sheet. Print, cut, and then fold over, and you have an instant topper for your treat bag. Fill a regular size sandwich bag with treats of your choice, and then staple this zebra topper to it. Teacher Appreciation Gift – DONE!!
Happy Fab Friday!
And by big kids, I mean the ADULTS!
I’m planning a 40th birthday party and I’ve been looking for fun DIY birthday decorations and party themes that don’t involve “over the hill” or black balloons. Thankfully, I’ve found a LOT of inspiration out there!
More party inspiration and ideas, from Kara’s Party Ideas, a gorgeous houndstooth inspired 40th Birthday Party theme:
We have a Tiffany Favors category in our Diva Entertains shop too!
Now, I can’t decide if I want a sophisticated glam theme… or a more FIESTA party theme. For the latter, I’ve bookmarked this fabulous Fiesta 40th Birthday post on the Hostess Blog:
And I found this paper flower bouquet tutorial for Flirty Fiesta Flowers, from Aesthetic Nest:
Now… just in case I decide to go ALL OUT GLAM for this party I’m planning, I’ve marked this Zebra birthday cake as inspiration:
AND… this Bold Zebra + Tiffany Blue inspired party post. Isn’t this a gorgeous Zebra fondant cake. Want to have this cake (or a very similar one) for your party? Print out this picture and take it to your bakery and ask them to recreate! (I do this all the time):
I’m SURE you’ve noticed that animal prints – most specifically leopard and zebra – are very popular right now! I think it was about two years ago when I realized animal prints were the IN thing. I was looking at photos of a high school graduation on facebook, and ALL the girls (and a few of their moms and aunts) had on some kind of animal print skirt with BRIGHT pink (or orange) blouses.
And it appears that this is one of those trends that just continues to gain momentum. We’re seeing zebra stripes and leopard prints in all aspects of party planning and entertaining! Baby showers… first birthdays… sweet sixteen… bachelorette… everyone wants an animal print party!
Here are a few of the fun animal print favors and party helps we have in the Diva shop:
